Gremsy and Indian distributor UAVGarage are partnering to showcase stabilized imaging payloads at Drone Expo 2026 in New Delhi, a move aimed at making enterprise drone payloads easier to source and support in India.
The products on show
Gremsy says the joint presentation will feature VIO, a payload combining a 4K zoom electro-optical camera, a thermal sensor and a laser rangefinder, alongside LYNX, a smaller dual-sensor payload designed for real-time aerial intelligence.
The products target inspection, public safety, mapping and other missions where a drone needs more than a single daylight camera. Weight, stabilization, thermal performance and integration options are often more important to an operator than headline airframe speed.
Why local distribution matters
Enterprise payloads can be difficult to deploy when buyers have to manage cross-border logistics, customs, integration support and warranty service separately. A local distributor can reduce those frictions and give OEMs a clearer path to testing a payload on their own aircraft.
The partnership also reflects India's role as a growing UAV market. Local access does not automatically prove product demand, but it can shorten the time between a technical demonstration and a field trial.
The buyer's checklist
Operators should still compare sensor specifications, interface support, gimbal behavior, environmental ratings, calibration procedures and software compatibility before selecting a payload. A 4K camera and thermal channel are only useful if the aircraft can carry them without unacceptable flight-time loss.
The most useful demonstration will show not only the payload on a display stand, but also stabilized imagery, rangefinder workflow, data export and how the system integrates with the customer's flight-control and mission software.
Payload access is part of the drone ecosystem
Gremsy and UAVGarage's event partnership highlights a practical side of drone growth: capable aircraft still need accessible sensors, local support and integration expertise before they become dependable tools for enterprise operators.
