Arrive AI introduced the AP3 Plus on October 7, saying the secure delivery endpoint is available for shipping. The unit adds local computer vision that detects packages and their status for handoffs involving drones, robots and human couriers. Source: Arrive AI.

The endpoint becomes a sensor
The company says an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano runs vision models on the unit, while package data can remain local or be shared through cloud options. The system tracks whether a parcel is present and supports machine-to-machine handoff events.
Why the handoff matters
A drone flight cannot complete a delivery if the receiving point cannot confirm that a package arrived and is secure. Standardized endpoints could reduce the need for a person to wait at every drop-off. Their value depends on compatibility across aircraft, robots and operating software.
Evidence still needed
Availability for shipping does not establish a large installed network. Buyers should look for real deployments, integration details, weather performance, security testing and demonstrated reductions in failed handoffs before treating the upgrade as proof of scalable delivery.
