Compare radio size, gimbals, switches, display, battery format and control protocol against the way your pilots will fly. Simulator access and switch layout also matter for training. Check that the selected transmitter and receivers use compatible versions and frequencies; a radio's appearance alone cannot tell you which link it supports.
