Ukraine has codified Phantom Defense’s Blade interceptor for military use, Kyiv Post reported on October 8. That clearance permits procurement but does not establish an order or large-scale deployment. Source: Kyiv Post.

What the system claims
The company lists a top speed of 310 km/h, up to 30 km operating range and a 0.5 kg payload. Vertical takeoff and day and thermal cameras are intended to support dispersed launch and around-the-clock missions.
A layered defense role
Blade is presented as part of a wider architecture with detection, electronic warfare and battle-management software. Fast fixed-wing threats can leave little response time, so sensor cueing and operator decisions may matter as much as interceptor speed.
Procurement is the next test
Codification is a gate, not a measured combat outcome. Public evidence does not yet establish purchase volume, successful intercept rate, unit cost or production dedicated to Blade. Those are the milestones to watch.
