The ME-8166 and ME-9101 self-reset travel limit switches can provide physical position feedback or end-of-travel control in custom UAV payloads, landing systems, release mechanisms, test fixtures, and other electromechanical assemblies. Select the model according to actuator geometry, required contact arrangement, available space, and the electrical load being switched.
Confirm voltage and current limits, wiring logic, mounting rigidity, actuation direction, and repeatability before integration. Position the switch so the mechanism reaches it reliably without applying damaging over-travel force. Bench-cycle the complete assembly under representative load and vibration before relying on it for an airborne function.
